National Young Fundamentalist Conference, Lexington KY

This past week we went to Kentucky to visit Commonwealth Baptist College and Clays Mill Road Baptist Church. During this time was also the National Young Fundamentalist Conference that they have every year. We really enjoyed our time there.

Bethel Baptist Church took part in their Bible Quiz, memorizing Mark chapters 8-12. Although our team didn't win, we did get 2 points and it was fun. It was a great experience and we are looking forward to participating again next year!!

These are pictures of Stepheny and Miss. Brown, the music teacher at Commonwealth Baptist College. Steph really enjoyed the two days she got to spend in classes and the three days in chapel. Miss. Brown and Steph became fast friends. :)
The skits at the conference were hilarious! This year they were the "Teen Stooges", so we had Larry, Moe, and Curly. :) And in the last picture you can see the very CREEPY gorilla that was also a part of the skit! On Thursday night, the gorilla came down and through our isle... and Luke jumped right into Steph's lap, hitting her in the chest with his elbow! lol :)
Roller Skating was Thursday afternoon's activity, and was lots of fun! None of the kids had ever been skating, so it was quite the experience! :) After falling down three times, Adrienne gave up, but continued to help Steph go around. :)

  1. How awesome! I am hoping to be able to attend the conference for the first time next year! I found your blog by googling the conference. :) I can't wait! It'll be my first time going to Kentucky and only my third time leaving my state! I'm super excited! :))
