Papa took Mom, Dad, Adrienne and I to Chicago to see The Phantom of the Opera. It was a wonderful night!
Chicago traffic, skyline, lights... LOVE
Mom wanted me to get a picture of the Soldier's Field (Bear's stadium)
Had to take these while my Papa was driving about 70.... so that's why they are so blurry... :)
Holding on to my camera for DEAR LIFE!
Mom said this was a famous something or other... (the red arch looking thing in the back lol ) I would love to go back to look around a little more. I have only been to Chicago a handful of times, but never time enough to just walk around. Adrienne has only been twice. She said she is definitely not a city girl.
YUMMY
Adrienne kept joking about the light and asking what good that little "light hutch" was doing.... we told her it was supposed to be romantic and peaceful (to which she rolled her eyes and attempted to ask the waiter for a flashlight... LOL
This is a weird picture but there wasn't much light, and I didn't want to turn on the flash and interrupt the other peoples meals.
I ordered lemonade and manicotti.... wow... it was DELICIOUS! :)
This was us while waiting for our Valet parking....
Couldn't be more excited!!!
WE ARE FINALLY HERE!!! Whoo hoo!!
Orchestra pit... this was neat since we have never actually seen the live orchestra for a play.
Had to get a picture... they went all out (and if you have ever seen Phantom of the Opera you would know how intense it is) and even had the Chandelier (lot 666) there was fire, "bombs", gun shots, you name it, they had it! (the chandelier even broke on us... very well put together!)
The stage set for the opening scene.
Thank you SO much papa for taking us... it was a GREAT time!
Chicago all lit up at night... (this picture kinda looks like a painting doesn't it?!)
