The process that went on a few nights ago as we took on a HUGE (ok, so it doesn't look huge until its all split and stacked) pile of wood to get ready for the winter.

Ready to work... and have fun! :)
Dad worked the splitter, I handed him the wood and Luke, Brooke and Adrienne stacked.
Adrienne also brought me pieces from the bigger pile and kept my wheel barrow full .:)
Brooke is a good worker... this is the SMALL pile that we started with... ended up with mounds and mounds!
For a while Luke and I operated the log splitter while Dad tried to help Mom start the fire.
Bringing it all into the barn afterwards. :)
