A NIGHT at the Zoo...

A few weeks ago, Indianapolis Zoo had what they call "Zoo Lights" or "Christmas at the Zoo". We dedcided to try it out... and we all loved it so much, we hope to do it again next year! :) My friend Michaela (who lives in the area) was able to meet us there and join our crazy family for a night of fun!
Btw, it was FREEZING the night we went! One of the coldest days yet.....

 Got a few family pictures...

Luke, Brooke and Jyll enjoyed looking at all the different colored fish.
They also got to experience petting the sharks... some of us were not so brave. ;)
We got to watch them feed the penguins. It was so cute. We were also able to go to a dolphin show, although we couldn't get any pictures.

The kids all wanted to stand by their favorite lights decoration.

 Me and Michaela
Jyll Jonnee (and mom and dad :)) on the train ride. It was so neat at night!
The carolers were fun to watch, and we enjoyed singing along with them. :)

The kids loved having Michaela there and wanted their picture with her!
Me and Adrienne.

Umm, I don't know what it was about this tree, but everytime we passed it, I always commented that I like it. I know, weird... but I did. :)

  1. Great pictures! Christmas at the zoo is always fun. Back in the day, my family had season passes to the San Diego Zoo and that was really cool. There was even real snow and sledding and all these little booths and of course lights. :)

    Merry Christmas!
