Trip to Wisconsin

We went to see our wonderful friends, the Jim Sikma Family this past Thursday and Friday.(http://sikmaarchives.wordpress.com/) Our first stop of the day was the Jelly Belly Factory and then we traveled on to the Riemen Publications Visitors Center, which is the publisher of 12 different magazines, including Birds and Bloom, Country Magazine, and Taste of Home to name a few. The evening was topped-off with the final day of the Holiness Conference (at Falls Baptist Church in Menomenee Falls, WI). Friday we attended "College Days" at the Baptist College of Ministry. That afternoon after the college days concluded we were able to go to a BCM basketball game starring Brian Sikma and then we enjoyed a wonderful meal and fellowship with the Sikma Family and Granny and Pop Criswell. Thanks for the wonderful time Sikma family!
Anyway, it was a fun, packed two days, but we had a GREAT time!

In this picture we are at the taste counter, where you can try any candy that they have... we were able to try several delicious flavours of Jelly Belly's (like Strawberry Blonde *my favorite!*) and several not so good, like booger, rotten egg, pencil shavings, toothpaste, baby wipes, skunk spray and dirt. YUCK! :(

The kids really liked this car... we had to make sure we got a picture by it before we left. :)
