Weaver's Happenings.....

Thought we'd let you know what we've been doing around here... and a few of our "goofy" moments!

1. Our toaster (which we've had since mom and dad were married)broke down not too long ago, and we were hesitant in buying a new one because we had our toaster oven, when that broke down, we got a cheap one at Menards for $2.00 on black friday! Now there is something you should know about our old toaster... since we have a bigger family, we had toast alot.... and since we had toast alot, we had bread bags around, no matter what, we would ALWAYS melt a new bread bag on the toaster by accident... so our old toaster was "bag marked". There were all different kinds of things from off the bags that would accidentally melt on there, nutrition facts, garuntees, you name it, it was on there!
So we were very careful about our new one we just got. It was nice, white, and clean. As I was making toast the other day, I wasn't paying attention, and when I looked down, the bread bag was melting onto the toaster! (which by the way, gets VERY hot!!!)
So long story short, our toaster is OFFICIALLY a "Weaver Toaster"!

2. I (stepheny) had bought a five pack of gum recently (strawberry banana), and have been eating it all week... I was eating my LAST piece this morning, really soaking up the delicious flavour, Adrienne said something to me, and when I went to reply, I swallowed my gum... a whole piece! I've only done that once... and I don't plan on doing it ever again... all morning I felt like I was choking, and I got a really sour stomach! lol :)

3. About a week ago, while I was with Jyll Jonnee, Luke, and Brooke... and Mommy and Adrienne went shopping, Jyll Jonnee lost her passifier. She was SCREAMING, and throwing fits... well, we having been wanting to get rid of it for a while, but Dad couldn't handle all the crying that came with throwing the passifier away, so we kept it. We looked all over for it, and finally gave up... "AH! This is our chance to get rid of it" We said. "If anyone finds it, throw it away!" Mom said. So she has been very crabby, whiney, likes to scream and talk and make noises... she just has to keep her mouth occupied!
Now her FAVORITE thing to do is sing "I had a little turtle". (which is a song that mom used to sing when she taugh preschool) She is constantly asking us to sing and do the motions with her... ALL the time!!! So pray for us as we endure getting rid of it, and singing "I had a little turtle" over and over!
(p.s. she's been off it for almost two weeks, but she still asks for it! lol ;))

4. PRAYER REQUEST: My Great Aunt Kathy (my moms Aunt) is in the hospital. She has had a stroke... she is not doing very well... we went to see her today, and she looked pretty good. She has lost some of her sight, and a few nights ago, they couldn't wake her up. She says she is always really dizzy. The other night she felt like she was tipping off her bed, and she was screaming for her brother (who was in the room at the time) to catch her. Please pray for her... her name is Kathy Bowen.
